General Terms and Conditions
1. Service provider details
The service provider details are published on the Imprint page.
2. Definitions
- Service Provider: the operator of the riydesign.eu website.
- Customer: the natural or legal person who orders a service from the Service Provider.
- Service: website refresh, new website creation, enterprise system development, and related design and operations work.
3. Subject of the contract
The Service Provider enters into a contract with the Customer based on an individual quote and a written order. The subject of the contract is set out in detail in the quote and the order confirmation (scope, deadline, fee, milestones).
4. Ordering process
- The Customer indicates the request via the contact form, email, or phone.
- The Service Provider issues an individual quote within 24-72 hours.
- If the quote is accepted, the parties sign a written contract / confirmation.
- Work starts after the deposit specified in the contract is received.
5. Fees and payment terms
Fees are set per order based on an individual quote. Payment is by bank transfer, the schedule is fixed in the contract (typically: [50% deposit, 50% on delivery]). The Service Provider issues the invoice within 8 business days of payment receipt.
6. Performance
The Service Provider performs by the deadline set in the contract. In case of delay, the Service Provider notifies the Customer without delay. Missing information or feedback delays on the Customer's side automatically extend the deadline.
7. Right of withdrawal
Under Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26), a Customer who qualifies as a consumer may withdraw from the contract without justification within 14 days. The withdrawal notice must be sent by email (hello@riydesign.eu). Withdrawal does not affect performance that we began at the Customer's express request before the 14-day period expired; the proportional fee for work already done is payable.
8. Copyright
Copyright in works created by the Service Provider remains with the Service Provider until the full fee is paid. After full payment, usage rights transfer to the Customer as set out in the contract. The Service Provider is entitled to feature the work in its portfolio unless the parties agree otherwise.
9. Liability
The Service Provider is not liable for legal violations arising from data, images, or text supplied by the Customer. The Service Provider's financial liability is capped at the fee of the ordered service, and no liability is accepted for indirect damages (loss of profit, harm to reputation).
10. Data processing
The Service Provider processes the Customer's data in accordance with applicable law and its own Privacy Notice.
11. Complaint handling
The Customer may submit a complaint by email or phone. The Service Provider investigates the complaint within 30 days and responds in writing. The competent conciliation body is operated by the chamber of commerce and industry of the county of the Customer's residence.
12. Miscellaneous
Hungarian law governs the contract. If these Terms are amended, the Service Provider publishes the change on the website; for contracts already signed, the version in force at the time of signing applies.
